Mercy Michael Foundation in partnership with M.Kukoye Foundation successfully hosted it’s Covid-19 Relief Support and sensitization outreach at Angwan Hausawa, a community in Masaka, Nasarawa state on the 15th of May 2020 and it was indeed a recorded success as we were able to provide relief items to a total of 120 households and also enlightening them on the Corona virus epidemic and how to maintain proper hygiene practices to keep themselves safe and also endeavor to adhere to all government directives. Our target is to reach out to a total of 5000 households in Karu and its surrounding communities within the space of two months with a replication of what we have achieved in this community. The next community to be visited is Aku Village in Mararaba-Karu. We want to specially appreciate our partner M.Kukoye Foundation and everyone who supported us, we also want to appreciate our team members for making themselves available. We also wish to call on individuals and organizations to be a part of this drive in any capacity they can. What looks small to you will mean so much to someone out there. Maintaining social distance in this community proved almost abortive as the crowd was really much.
